Love Revolution - Relationships
Author, Researcher & Comedian, Rosie Wilby and fellow Relationship Revolutionary, Miriam Grace, Senior Psychotherapist specialising in midlife, coming out later as lesbian and relationships, host retreats and workshops. You can also work privately in couples therapy with Miriam.
Relationship Revolution Retreats and Workshops run once or twice a year in person and are a rare chance to work with this experienced duo who are particularly interesting in building improved understanding between life-long and late bloomer lesbians.
Miriam and Rosie are developing new understanding and approaches to lesbian+ relationships based on both their research and books and both their lived experiences.
Miriam’s specialism in trauma and relationships has added new theory much of which is detailed in her upcoming book but some of which is only currently available in person, on her Love Revolution Retreats with Rosie, and in her correspondence course, The Manual.

Upcoming retreat in Derbyshire – March 5th – 7th March.
Miriam talks about their plans for the March Retreat:
We cannot work on anything and we certainly can’t work in relationships when the individuals themselves are in fight flight mode. So core to our approach is to begin with work on self regulation and coregulation practices.
We will be exploring in an accepting and supportive way the “dance“ of the avoidant and the insecurely attached partners and attending to your own key points of being emotionally activated. This will be a Neurodivergent affirmative approach relevant for all and once we have found the individual and personal degrees of reactivity there will be some import on non-verbal and verbal communication skills to ease you out of these vicious cycles or I prefer to call it the dance. Part of learning to dance as if no one is watching might even include dancing.
To conclude we will be exploring “coming in“ which is an attention to yearning longing and desire to being able to face these intense feelings as a route to making authentic and healthy connections. The discovery of desire does involve sensuality, reflection and more and is an essential skill whether you are in a relationship or not. Being queer is after all an act of following our own desires as opposed to the desires and wishes of the society we live in. We are raised to ignore and avoid our own needs and desires so a little practising can go long way.
On top of this Rosie and Miriam bring a crucial no novel piece of dialogue that is rarely discussed and that is the building of trust and understanding between the lifelong lesbians – which Miriam calls Pioneer Lesbians – and the Later-In-Life Lesbian. Miscommunications and culture clashes cause distress and pain but can also cause hilarity. Be assured that there will be no shortage of laughter on this weekend retreat.
Expect to return home with new friends and contacts, increased confidence and the knowledge that you are a delightfully, delicious, dazzling, dynamic, daring, deserving, divine, and perhaps devilish human being, and with the knowledge that Miriam likes bit of alliteration.
