LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy: The Client Group You Missed
Miriam appeared on the highly popular, Love, Happiness and Success series in the branch of episodes for therapists.
“LGBTQ affirmative therapy has a blind spot, and it is not hostility. It is our own need to know. Miriam Grace has been in practice 36 years, she is BACP Senior Accredited, and she came out herself just before she turned 50. When she landed in a private support group of women who had done the same thing, she did what any of us would do. She asked them how therapy was going.”

Miriam is delighted to be one of the early guests recorded for the brand new UK northern podcast Out Late, with Sally Cooper based in Leeds.
Out Late is a show for the late bloomers, late-in-life lesbians, queers and gays. It’s for anyone questioning or beginning to explore a new LGBTQ+ identity and for the allies who are keen to understand more.
